Coco was six when David and Courteney divorced in 2010.
David Arquette has said he wants to apologize to his daughter Coco over his divorce from her mother, Courteney Cox.
During a wide-ranging conversation with The Guardian, the 49-year-old actor “Scream” was asked: “Who would you most like to say sorry to, and why?”

“My daughter, Coco, because divorce is so difficult,” he replied.
Coco was just six years old when David and Courteney broke up in 2010. The couple met in 1996 on the set of “Scream”. They married in 1999. They divorced in 2013.
Although David revealed that the divorce from Courteney was ‘so difficult’, the couple worked hard to be there for Coco.
“We’re co-parents of our 16-year-old daughter, and we’ve had a wonderful relationship,” he told People. “We are friends and we communicated a lot because of Coco.”

“There are difficult parts, especially through the teens,” he continued. “There are a lot of emotions and feelings. We just had it – not an easy time with it, but we were just really open and supportive of each other. So it was made for a friendship and relationship that is out of respect.”
Courteney seems to have signed the sentiment when she spoke to ET about filming ‘Scream 4’ with her ex.
“The thing is, David and I love each other so much and we can get along so well,” she explained at the time. “I love him so much. We are close friends.”
And when ‘Scream 5’ was announced, David said he was looking forward to reuniting with Courteney.
“We always like to work together,” he told ET at the time. “She’s an amazing actress, so it’s going to be fun to bring these characters back to life and see where they are. It’s the easy part to play together.”
