Kyrie Irving calms fans down after losing two games

Brooklyn Nets Guardian Kyrie Irving is not worried about the team losing two games. Irving tried to calm down panicked Nets fans on Saturday morning, letting them know that the team will be “on that stage” at the end of the season.

Irving posted a note on Instagram to reassure fans that the season will not be lost after just two games.

Irving’s full comments read:

“We’ll be on that stage. The stage where the “best of the best” meet … you know, the main stage. Where those who can do, and those who can not talk about those who do. If you roll with us, great. Let’s rock. If you are not … do you know that you want to talk about our greatness anyway! ‘

Irving also sent the message in his Instagram story, but with one slight difference. The message began with the sentence “Do not triple, it’s a long journey” before coming to the rest of Irving’s post.

Nets do not have much to worry about yet

While a team with Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden should dominate every night, a two-game losing streak should not be a big issue. After opening the season 3-4, the Nets managed to play each other 6-2 over their next 8 games. The two-game losing streak dropped the team to 9-8 this season, good for the No. 7 team in the Eastern Conference.

This is disappointing considering the star power in the team, although the trio of Durant, Harden and Irving have not been together for long. On top of that, the Nets did not have Durant for Friday’s 125-113 defeat to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Durant missed the game to recover from his Achilles injury.

Given the talent in the team, it is assumed that the Nets will get it together and play at a high level. If the team’s battle continues over a month, it may be time to worry. But a two-game losing streak should not erase what Durant, Harden and Irving have done in the past.
