Temporary Danger! host Ken Jennings says he is still adjusting to deliver the clues rather than answering them, following the death of Alex Trebek.
“It’s really nerve-wracking,” Jennings said. Refine Seattle, a publication in his hometown, in an interview published Thursday. ‘I’m like everyone else, I wish it was still Alex out there. But the most important thing I noticed is what an amazing job he did, he always made it look so effortless and graceful. ”
Trebek, who has hosted the games show since 1984, died of pancreatic cancer in November. Jennings, who won 74 consecutive contests as a contestant in 2004 and was crowned the “Greatest of All Time” as the contest at a rally held in Trebek last year, has been at the helm since January 11th. In his appearance, he was open about the loss of the long-running TV contest, with whom he became close.
‘It was very difficult to miss him and also just miss him Danger! with him, ”Jennings said. ‘I think that’s what we’re sad about, that he’s part of our lives, and that we’re able to present Alex Danger! every night. I wanted to open the show like that and just say, ‘Look, you can’ t replace a big one like Alex Trebek. We want Danger! to continue. It will not be the same, but it will Danger!. ”
The program has announced that a series of hosts, including journalists Katie Couric and Bill Whitaker, actress and neuroscientist Mayim Bialik and the Aaron Bayers, Green Bay Packers quarterback, will appear in the coming weeks.
