Alabama has added more than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases since yesterday.
Figures from the Department of Public Health in Alabama on Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. show that the state recorded 429,655 cases of coronavirus, an increase of 3,132 from the previous day. The state added 157 deaths to bring the total to 6,283.
ADPH said it is conducting a review of past deaths, and that the numbers may reflect cases dating back weeks or months.
There are currently 2,724 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Alabama.
