More COVID-19 vaccine appointments open, adults 65+ can sign up

PHOENIX – Additional appointments for coronavirus vaccination will be available at state vaccination sites on Tuesday morning, but the high demand and available doses remain of concern.

At 19:00 on 19 January, ADHS says that suitable Arizonans can register in February for the appointment of vaccines for the State Farm Stadium in Glendale and the Phoenix Municipal Stadium in the Phoenix / Tempe area.

“Initial appointments are limited based on vaccine supply, with appointments depending on the distribution of the vaccine by the federal government,” the Arizona Department of Health Services said in a press release Monday morning.

Arizona is reportedly receiving the vaccine from the federal government on a weekly basis, which determines how many vaccines the state has and how many appointments can be offered.
