Samsung announced its latest wireless earbuds last week. They sound pretty solid so far, but it looks like the company is already launching an update for the buttons with new features and customizations, making the Galaxy Buds Pro an even more attractive option for potential buyers.

The OTA update adds a “hearing enhancement feature” that allows users to adjust the balance of sound between the left and right earplugs. It should be helpful for people affected by hearing impairments that make the buttons’ standard sound balance unideal.

The update also includes enhancements to the Bixby experience, which should allow it to respond faster when called by voice. And of course, there are the normal issues with system stability that are addressed that make this update more reliable than the software currently used on the Buds Pro. The new software update available for the Galaxy Buds Pro is version number R190XXU0AUA1 and is available at 2.2 MB, which should make it fast to download and install.

Our review of the new Galaxy Buds Pro will be available soon, but until then you can get in touch with any questions you have about the buttons here. And if you’re interested in buying a pair for yourself, you can swap out any old wireless or wireless headphones you have and immediately save $ 30 on a Galaxy Buds Pro purchase on Samsung.com. Samsung will increase the savings to $ 50 if it’s some Galaxy Buds Live or Galaxy Buds + you swap, but that’s a good thing.
