Unfortunately, the coronavirus is still living well, which means that detection programs are still needed. Fortunately, an issue with applications developed using Google’s Android exposure system that has affected tracking applications in several countries has been resolved. COVID-19 detection is now working again on Android devices.

Unlike most programs, COVID-19 tracking applications are important for most people’s livelihoods, causing Google to issue a statement when an issue of load notification presented itself at some point yesterday. This problem is attributed to the fact that the apps could not download diagnostic keys from servers, and this affected all apps built with the Android Exposure Notifications System, which is the NHS COVID-19 app used in England and Wales, as well as the CoronaMelder app in the Netherlands. Some have found that recharging the phone or entering and leaving airplane mode would remove the notification, but an app as prominent as this obviously needs a legitimate solution.

Fortunately, Google was able to come up with a solution very quickly. A Google spokesman told Engadget: “It may take a few hours for devices to catch up, and in some cases we will work directly with developers to help with the recovery. The problem is not the loss of data or potential exposure. does not cause. ” The app was still collecting contact tracking keys and detecting exposure while the issue was resolved, so the issue would not have directly affected anyone’s health.
