The Broncos have found their new GM.
According to several reports, George Paton and the Broncos have agreed to make a deal that will make Paton Denver general manager.
Work in Denver, GM, began when John Elway resigned from day-to-day staff work, though Elway will continue to oversee the Broncos’ front office.
Paton spent 14 seasons with the Vikings and worked as assistant general manager under Rick Spielman. He also spent time with the Bears and Dolphins. Now Paton will be working to turn around a Denver team that has not been in the playoffs since Peyton Manning retired.
