Well, it seems like some companies have taken it upon themselves to clone the set for much cheaper, with … different levels of success.
As Takashi S. Omoto noted in his tweet, the sets are “charming, if they are fun”, and one of the sets even comes with extra “patterns” that “play” different games, ranging from Duck Hunt after the infamous Bowser battle of Super Mario Bros.
Good warning: this probably won’t work with the LEGO Super Mario icon, just like the actual case does. Nintendo will probably find and tell you too. Do not say that we did not warn you.
