PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a tractor trailer along Interstate 70 on Monday morning.
The accident happened just before 7:30 a.m. along the eastern lanes of I-70 near Exit 38 (Mon-Fayette Highway) in Fallowfield Township.

According to the Coroner’s Office in Washington County, John Marvin Isenberg III, 33, of Ohio, was working on a vehicle with a disabled vehicle on the right shoulder of the highway when the tractor hit him.

Interstate 70 was closed for about three hours, but reopened to traffic at about 10:30 p.m.
