We do not know much about the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – we do not even have a name for it yet. After Nintendo released an announcement trailer for the game during E3 2019, the radio went silent. We’ll hear more about the game when Nintendo is ready, but there’s no indication of how soon it may be.
Meanwhile, it’s always fun to speculate and talk about what we hope to see in the new game. In the video above, Max Blumenthal describes nine dreams for the Breath of the Wild sequel, ranging from who we want to play to where we hope the game is finally set. It would be pretty cool to also see the return of notable Legend of Zelda enemies and allies.
If you have not yet seen the trailer for the sequel to Breath of the Wild, it’s worth checking out. It seems the trailer suggests that at least part of the game will take place in an underground setting or perhaps a more traditional Legend or Zelda dungeon setting. You can also see that Link and Zelda work side by side, unlike Link who singles out the adventure and that Zelda agrees as a disembodied voice. The withered cap of what looks like Ganon is also present, as well as images and sounds that may indicate a connection to the events and characters of Twilight Princess – one of the many Legend of Zelda games referred to in Breath of the Wild . But that is admittedly all the suspicion.
Like we said before, we actually know nothing about this game except that it exists. What are your hopes and dreams for the sequel to Breath of the Wild? Leave your answers in the comments section below.
