In a message to union members, the president of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants said union leaders were aware of incidents on several flights en route to DC.
“As security personnel, we are well trained in dealing with disruptions in the aircraft, but we must never find that we have to deal with politically motivated verbal or physical disputes on board,” the message reads.
It ordered flight attendants to continue to maintain situational awareness and try to deal with all safety and security issues on the ground.
