Apex Legends’ Fight Night event update was launched on January 5 and brought many new cosmetics, a Town Takeover for Pathfinder, a new heirloom and other changes, including Legends lovers and nerds.
After months of speculation and leaks, Respawn Entertainment finally launched the Fight Night Collection event, which focuses on Pathfinder, on Tuesday, January 5th.
The event is like previous collection events where you get new skins, cosmetics, a long awaited heirloom for Gibraltar, and enjoy a new limited mode, Airdrop Escalation.
While some of these changes are temporary, there are also some long-term changes to two of the Legends, as Respawn has finally given Rampart a long-awaited boost.
Rampart
If she kicks things off with Rampart, she’s going to get an ever-so-small buff in the Fight Night update, thanks to a change in cooling in her Amped Cover.
Instead of waiting 30 seconds for the tactical ability to recharge, Rampart mains now only have to wait 20 seconds. However, it takes about three seconds before you insert a piece of Amped Cover.

Rampart will eventually see some changes in Apex Legends.
There are no other true lovers of the defense legend, but Replay also addressed two errors that hampered her knee – including one where the screens of players changed with the use of the Sheila mini-rifle.
Horizon
Horizon was not included in the original draft of the patch notes released before the release of the update, but the developers switched one last second to see that Season 7’s Legend also received a change.
The effective cooling of her Gravity Lift has been increased, from 16 to 21 seconds, which means that it will now take five seconds longer to gain the ability after it has been used.

Horizon was added to the Apex Legends Fight Night update patch notes at the last second.
Byts
A slight controversy surrounding Caustic caused the Toxic Trapper to be removed from the patches after Respawn initially planned to make a change to its Nox Gas Trap Cooldown.
Originally, the cooling would be reduced to 20 seconds, an adjustment that received negative feedback from the community when it was worked out by Senior Game Designer, Daniel Klein.
However, when the update fell on January 5, the developers canceled the adaptation, but rather implemented the above change in Horizon.

Caustic’s gas scraps will be changed in the new update.
Weapons: Hemlok, Mastiff, Prowler
As for the weapon change, the Hemlok, Mastiff and Prowler have also changed – with the first two receiving nerves and the Prowler such a slight buff.
The Prowler’s buff is not to his detriment or extent, but rather to reserve bullets, for it has been increased to 210 from 175 Hemlok, its damage was reduced from 22 to 20.
The Mastiff’s The grain distribution was changed for the third and fourth shots, which reduced the range from 10 degrees to 7.5.
As mentioned before, there are also a number of bug fixes aimed at eradicating issues with each legend.
These changes were focused on Bangalore, Bloodhound, Crypto, Mirage, Loba, Horizon, Revenant, Rampart and Revenant, and you can read the full patch notes here.
