Slurp Ippudo Ramen At Home

Before the pandemic, you can usually count on a queue outside Ippudo ramen restaurants, some of which are now open for pickup and delivery. But now you can call up a pickup truck with one of the distinctive frames at any time, with the new frozen kit manufactured in collaboration with Sun Noodle already selling cook-designed frame sets. Ippudo’s satisfying shiromaru tonkotsu (pork) sauce takes 10 minutes to heat; thin hakata noodles, slices of cooked pork chasu and fiery karaka mispasta also come in the package for a very generous portion. Add your own shallots, sliced napa cabbage, fresh coriander, mushrooms, fishcake, egg or whatever you fancy for a slurp-worthy bowl.
