Pharmacists accused of spoiling COVID-19 vaccine believe it would alter people’s DNA, officials say

OZAUKEE LAND – The pharmacist accused of intentionally spoiling nearly 600 doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at a Grafton clinic made his first appearance in court in Ozaukee on Monday.

Steven Brandenburg is the pharmacist accused of spoiling intentional vials of vaccine at Grafton Aurora Medical Center on Dec. 24.

According to a possible causal statement, Brandenburg took the box with the vaccine out of the fridge and let it out for 12 hours, which made it useless.

Brandenburg told investigators that he believed the vaccine was not safe for humans and that they would “cause damage and alter their DNA,” the probable cause said. According to the Grafton Police Department, Brandenburg is a ‘permissible conspiracy theorist’.

Brandenburg was arrested on December 31 on charges of first-degree reckless endangerment, safety of prescribed medication and criminal property damage.

57 people did receive the vaccine after it was omitted, but there is presumably no health damage, Aurora officials said.
