Ubisoft + can join the service

Xbox Games Pass is without a doubt one of the best things that can happen with modern games.

The service allows gamers to download hundreds of games and play at one low monthly subscription fee.

Ubisoft + joins gaming pass

It is rumored that Ubisoft’s own subscription service, Ubisoft +, may join Games Pass and be available for free to subscribers as part of the subscription.

Jez Corden, editor for Windows Central, tweeted about the rumors and states that it “has a strong chance of being true”.

It can add more than 100 Ubisoft games to the already extensive catalog.

Games currently offered as part of the Ubisoft + subscription include:

  • Watch Dogs Legion
  • Far Cry New Dawn
  • The Section 2
  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
  • Rainbow Six Siege
  • The crew 2
  • For honor
  • South Park: the broken but whole

Will it include Xbox?

At the moment, Ubisoft + is only available on PC, with plans to bring it to Stadia this year.

If Ubisoft has a partnership with Microsoft, it could bring the service to Xbox, or it could become a bigger selling point for Games Pass For PC subscribers.

EA Play

In 2020, EA Play joined Xbox Games Pass Ultimate and added more than 100 titles to Games Pass.

EA Play is intended to come to Games Pass For PC, but has been delayed.

It would seem that Microsoft is really trying to make Games Pass the ultimate selling point for the Microsoft brand.

The fact that brand new titles from EA and Ubisoft, as well as all titles owned by Microsoft, are available on day 1, make it an important factor in deciding whether you want to move this generation to Xbox or PlayStation.
