Aaron Donald faced Seahawks in playoff game: ‘Exactly what we wanted’

The Rams were left with a sour taste in their mouths last week when they were crushed by the Seahawks on the road, 20-9. This dropped their record to 9-6 and left them in danger of missing the playoffs.

But by beating the Cardinals on Sunday, the Rams arranged a third meeting with the Seahawks – their second in a three-week team. As the number 6 seed, the Rams will visit the Seahawks on Wild Card weekend to open the playoffs, and they will be square on Saturday afternoon.

They split the season 1-1, and Aaron Donald is excited to face the Rams’ division rival for the third time in a win-or-win rubber game next weekend.

After LA’s victory over Arizona, Donald said the face of the Seahawks “is exactly what we wanted.”

Donald has always played well against the Seahawks, so it’s no surprise that he wants another chance at them. Seattle clinched the NFC West by beating the Rams this past weekend, but LA will try to avenge the loss by eliminating its rival from the post-season with a win.

The kickoff is set for 4:40 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon on FOX.
