do not ask me where I came from.

Original Readme:
‘This is PolarisOS. This is a canceled version of Windows Core OS designed for desktops and laptops. This image is early enough not to contain much more than the OS itself. It has no shell and does not load.
You need an ARM device to start it, and you need to upload drivers first. The wim is bootable, but you can also install it directly by applying index 1.

To install on a phone instead of a tablet, go to catalog.update.microsoft.com, find the latest firmware for your phone, download all MainOS cabinets for it, place them all in a folder, and run dism / Image from: / Add-package / PackagePath:

To install on an arm tablet, get the tablet drivers and run dism / Image: / Add-Driver / Driver: / Recurse

Pressing the power button turns off the device and disconnects the device via USB, exposing a diagnostic interface that you can use to open a command prompt. “

No screenshots because I do not have a compatible device for this build.

The build is now not much more than a curiosity, but interestingly it is after a large number of changes of direction, it is the desktop construction of Windows Core OS that will eventually make the devices, to versions for two-key smartphones. , dual-screen laptops and the Surface Hub have been canceled.

Skilled hackers can visit it here.
