Target recalls 480,000 children’s trousers and swimming trunks

Target recalls a total of 480,000 units of baby rompers and swimsuits for babies and toddlers. Both repeals were announced on December 30, 2020 by the U.S. Commission and Target for Consumer Products.

The CPSC received 16 reports of clippings on Cloud Island breakers breaking, loosening or missing, including one report of scratches and one report of a child being pinched.

The baby rompers being recalled include the Cloud Island Waterfront Baby Boutique Rompers, Cloud Island Little Peanut and True Navy Rompers, Cloud Island Little Wildflower and Joyful Mint Rompers, Cloud Island Oh Honeybee and Pink Rompers and Cloud Island Floral Fields and Mint Rompers . The rompers were sold in sizes newborn up to 12 months. About 299,000 rompers in total were recalled.

Customers are asked to return withdrawn trumpets to the store for a refund. “Consumers should immediately remove the withdrawn children’s jersey from children and return it to any Target Store for a full refund,” CPSC said in a statement. “Consumers who purchased the rompers on Target.com can contact Target to receive a prepaid return label to return the rompers.”

If you bought a swimsuit with a result from Target for your child, you want to check the details of a second recall immediately. The swimsuits being recalled are Cat & Jack Summer Blue Lemon, Coral Icon Story Hawaiian and Moxie Peach Lemon rash protectors. The baby and toddler bathing suit was sold in sizes 12M to 5T.

Target received 27 reports of the swimsuit breaking or loosening, including one report of a tear.

About 181,000 swimsuits are being recalled and can be repaid. The exact number of the product item is listed in the recall notice and found on the white label in the swimsuit. Buyer can return the swimwear to stores or contact Target for a prepaid return label if the item was purchased on the store’s website.
