British doctors film NYE crowd singing ‘COVID is a joke’ outside hospital

A tired British doctor left the hospital where he was treating New Year’s Eve with COVID-19 patients and in a crowd of maskless protesters shouting: ‘COVID is a joke. ‘

“I’m disgusting, but mostly sad,” Matthew Lee said tweeted with video he shot the hundreds of protesters outside London St Thomas’ Hospital.

“I wish people could see the amount of COVID-19 and deaths in hospitals, and the sacrifices that health workers make. This week alone has been so tough. Their ignorance hurts others. I really wish people would keep themselves safe.”

The UK is recording a huge increase in coronavirus cases as a highly contagious variant of the deadly bugs being torn apart by the population.
