Georgia Sen. Perdue explodes Ossoff over payments backed by China-backed ‘propaganda company’: ‘He caught’

Senator David Perdue, R-Ga., Accused his opponent in next week’s by-elections, Democrat Jon Ossoff, of lying by not disclosing his business ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

During a conversation with Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy on Thursday, Ossoff accused him of knowingly failing to disclose compensation to Hong Kong-based company PCCW Media Limited, which is linked to the Chinese government as a ‘ nonsense ‘.

“This question needs to be asked, but is not being asked by any of the liberal media out there,” Perdue told America’s News HQ.

“It’s incredible to me that you can have the Eric Swalwell crisis, the Hunter Biden crisis, and ignore the Jon Ossoff crisis,” Perdue told America’s News HQ. “This is clearly a pattern of activities of the Chinese Communist Party. They identified Jon Ossoff after his attempt to run for the US House in 2017 … They identified him as an ambitious young politician on the Democratic side with whom they would probably be able to gain influence.

GEORGIA REPUBLICANS ACCUSE WE DON’T REPORT PAYMENTS FOR COMPANIES WITHIN CHINA

“So they hired him and he worked for this Chinese Communist Party propaganda company for two years … and he hid it from the people of Georgia during his primary election,” Perdue continued. “He might not have won the by-election if he had made it fully public. He caught on. He did not make it known, lied about it and lied about it again.

“And he still has not answered Peter’s question, if you will,” the Republican continues. “He never answered that question.”

Perdue, who is in quarantine after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus, told Fox News he and his wife both tested negative.

‘We had someone test positive yesterday [Thursday] one morning, and according to CDC’s guidelines and our doctor’s recommendations … we decided to quarantine for the last few days, “he explained. It’s a terrible timing, but we’re not going to miss a step. We are going to participate in all these events as if I were there. ‘
