Former UGA player says Florida’s embarrassment from ball loss should motivate Bulldogs for Cincinnati
The bowling season is often unpredictable, but the plot can be even greater this season, as the game does not meet during the regular season, and the increasing tendency for players to choose not to play in the post-season.

As for the Georgian Peach Bowl game against Cincinnati on Friday, former UGA receiver Terrence Edwards has a suggestion: He says look no further than the embarrassment Florida suffered at Oklahoma on Wednesday night.
The Sooners wheeled the Gators 55-20 in the Cotton Bowl, and after the game, Florida coach Dan Mullen offered a number of excuses for his team’s failure. Edwards says UGA does not want to be in the same position on Friday night after playing the Bearcats.
There is, of course, enough reason to believe that UGA will be more locked up than the Gators were – despite a few Bulldogs players deciding not to play.
Senior safety Richard LeCounte is returning from injury, future NFL draft pick Tyson Campbell has pledged his commitment to the team and others have shown similar sentiment.
It remains to be seen what the outcome will be for UGA in the match against an unbeaten opponent, which achieves a top-10 ranking and which is nominated by many people for inclusion in the College Football Playoff. The safe bet, however, is that the Bulldogs – for reasons cited by Edwards and beyond – will be locked up and ready to compete.
