Brown training team, coach test positive for COVID-19; Facility closed and detection underway

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Another Browns player and staff is positive about COVID-19 today and the facility was closed while contact detection was ongoing. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed today that the player is in the training group and that the staff is a coach.

That includes a total of ten players on the COVID-19 reserve list, but as many as seven could be back in time for Sunday’s win-and-win game against the Steelers.

Linebacker BJ Goodson tested positive, and Andrew Sendejo’s safety could be positive. The seven close contacts are Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones, KhaDarel Hodge, Jacob Phillips, Harrison Bryant and Karl Joseph.
