Random: Dust off your Wii U, it’s time for some Banjo Kazooie and Blast Corps

Banjo

It’s almost the end of the year, and Nintendo is going to list on the official website a list of games he wants to go with at once.

As seen by the Twitter account @ wight90297332 Earlier today, Nintendo’s Japanese release schedule for December includes the Nintendo 64 titles Banjo-Kazooie and Blast Corps for the Wii U Virtual Console. Yep, apparently they have to get out today …?

As noted in Gematsu’s tweet above, both links are not available. Clicking on them will open a message explaining that the page has been deleted, edited, or is currently available. If you say so, you can still see the full list on the main release schedule page – with Microsoft Japan as the publisher.

We assume this is a big mistake at the end of Nintendo. This made us wonder why these two rare games – a company now owned by Microsoft – were listed when neither of the two games got a Virtual Console version in the first place. Could this be a sign of the things to come?

If we hear anything else, we’ll update this post. In the meantime, tell us what you make of this in the comments.
