SPRINGFIELD TOWN, Wis. One child drowned Sunday afternoon after falling through ice in Marquette County.
According to a news release, officials responded to a call around 12:30 a.m. that several Amish children had fallen through the ice on Twin Lake.
The release said the five children are ice skating; four of them took it out of the water, while one child drowned.
The incident is not considered suspicious but is still being investigated.
